Fixing MSN Messenger Spam
The amount and type of SPAM I was receiving through MSN Messenger was becoming ridiculous…so I took action. Luckily there is an easy fix. Thought I’d share just in case anyone else experiences the same problem. Here are the quick changes you need to make to fix the problem in both Messenger and Trillian.

This does not work for Trillian. The post that you are directing us to is from 2004 and not entirely helpful to everyone. Thanks for trying though.
It did for me, as that’s what I use and it fixed it.
